How PTET Rank is Calculated
PTET rank is determined purely by the marks scored in the PTET exam on a single merit list. The exam is out of 600 marks (4 sections Γ 50 questions Γ 3 marks each). In case of tie in marks, the candidate older in age is given higher merit. Each year, approximately 5β6 lakh candidates appear, making competition significant.
Separate rank lists are prepared for each category (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) and for each course type (2-Year and 4-Year B.Ed). Your rank within your category determines your college allotment priority. Our converter estimates your overall rank and category rank based on previous year score distributions.
